This year, ironing the Warmest Week near our office in Hasselt. De Warmste Week is an initiative by the Flemish television broadcaster and the well-known Belgian radio stations MNM and Studio Brussel. Each year, a specific theme is chosen where individuals and companies can raise money for one of the many charities that fall under this theme. This year's theme is “Join the fight against disadvantaged poverty”.
Of course, at Harmony, we want to contribute to this great initiative. But Harmony wouldn't be Harmony if we didn't link a “challenge” to this. That's why our CSR squad came up with 'The Tour of Harmony'.

As mentioned earlier, Harmony is committed to the environment, society and people. By supporting at least a number of charities every year, we contribute to society. Of course, the term “people” also includes our Harmonians and their well-being. That's why we came up with the idea to kill two birds with one stone. With the Tour of Harmony, we challenge our colleagues to jointly walk/run 3050 km within 1 month starting today (21/11/2022). This distance is equal to the distance between our four offices (Den Bosch — Valkenswaard — Hasselt — Zenica — Den Bosch).
With their own “Harmony Challenge” application, created by our OutSystems experts, colleagues can record their distances, view other colleagues' distances and monitor progress. If colleagues manage to reach the 3050 km mark before December 19, Harmony will donate 2000 euros to The Warmest Week. For each additional half or full round, Harmony will increase the amount. In this way, we not only contribute to charities, but we also invest in the health of our colleagues by stimulating exercise.
During the final week that starts on Monday, December 19, 2022, Harmony will announce the result and hand over the collected amount to the radio makers in person.
Wondering if our colleagues can successfully complete 'the Tour of Harmony' (or more)? Be sure to keep an eye on our social media!
Specifically, during the Warmest Week, we chose 2 charities that are close to our hearts.
